How do you get from pose X to pose Y to pose Z? There answer is an infinite number of ways. In this 90 minute fast-paced class, we'll move through a long sequence of poses designed to get you out of your head and into your body a few different ways. The long sequence of 25-30 poses is meant to keep you on your toes and let you get lost in the journey of the flow, and to paint a canvas for you to be able to add as much flair (think twists, binds and balances) as you like from pose to pose. Expect to get sweaty, try new transitions and get in some additional core work throughout the practice!
You'll learn a little about the history, what to expect during a typical class, and why this practice is so powerful. After a short conversation we will spend the majority of our time together breaking down all the poses in Sun Salutations A & B. You will learn how to transition through the poses smoothly, how to incorporate ujjayi breath into your flow, and different ways to modify each pose based on your needs. There will be plenty of opportunity for you to ask any questions.
